We require all incoming students
Training from another herb school or extensive self-study is not required but will surely be helpful in your studies as this course presumes a base level of knowledge of Western Herbalism.
- To be deeply familiar with and comfortable working with at least 15 plants and already have some basic knowledge of at least 15 more.
- To be comfortable making tinctures, decoctions, infusions, and infused oils
- To have basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- To have some experience working with people as a practitioner, even if just with family and friends: whether as an herbalist, an acupuncturist, a chinese herbal practitioner, a body worker, an energy worker, a counselor, or a medical professional.

You are responsible for your own lodging, transportation to Portland, OR and meals. Payment Plans You can choose to pay in full prior to the start of classes or choose a payment plan. We are flexible with our payment plans and can customize one that fits both your and our needs. Please note that the tuition needs to be paid in full by April 1, 2019 before the last module begins. * We don't want anyone excluded from the training for lack of funds, please email us if you need to talk about alternative payment options or work trade possibilities for a partial scholarship. Cancellation Policy If you choose to withdraw from the training 45 days or more prior to the first day of the program, you will be refunded all tuition paid less your non-refundable $500 Tuition Deposit. If you choose to withdraw from the training less than 45 days before the first day of the program, or should you miss any individual class sessions, you will be held responsible for payment of the full tuition. If you are on a payment plan and have not yet paid in full, you will remain legally responsible for the entire outstanding balance of your unpaid tuition. Non-Refundable Deposit Once you email your application, please click on the 'Add to Cart' link to the right to enter your payment details and process your $500 tuition deposit to save your seat in the training. When we receive your application and payment, we will contact you with further details. Your tuition deposit is required in order for your application to be processed by our admissions team, and is non-refundable once you are accepted into the program. If your application is not approved for any reason, your deposit will be refunded immediately.
